Carnside Guest House is situated at the Giants Causeway, Northern Ireland's world heritage site

panoramicCarnside Guest House is situated on a hill, with this panoramic view, overlooking the Giant's Causeway, Portrush andDonegal.  The Giants Causewa y is a world heritage site, famous for its six sided volcanic stone formation. The locals love the whole of this coastline, with it's hidden treasures, as seen in the photographs on this website;  it is indeed a walkers paradise.  The coastal scenery is ever changingand the sunsets from the houseare stunning.

Carnside, with it's elevated position, is one of the most beautiful settings in the area for an overnight stay, or as a base for a walking holiday. The guest house is surrounded by farmland and the farm has an open/fun farm where children can enjoy both games and seeing various animals. It is a ten minute walk from the house to the Giant's Causeway and local restaurants, It's location is ideal  for walking, hiking or cycling "The Ulster Way" . It is possible to use the local bus service (goes hourly around the coast during summer months) to travel along the coast and then walk back to the guest house. Packed lunches are available for excursions;  bicycles can be stored in a garage and there is a private large car parking area, a drying room, and kennels for visitors dogs. Dogs not allowed in house.

Rooms : 11 en-suite bedrooms. Ideal for group bookings. There are 2 doubles, 2 singles, 1 twin, 3 triples (1 double + 1 single bed); 1 family for 4, and 1 family for 5. All with TV, tea and coffee facilities and a hair dryer..
Three bedrooms downstairs suitable for elderly; one handicap friendly. Easy access by wheelchair into house and bedroom/bathroom.
Two visitor's sitting rooms with panoramic views and beautiful sunsets.

Rates 2018
Rates are for bed and buffet breakfast. There is a £5 surplus for each adult and £2.50 for each child for a cooked breakfast.
Breakfast
Buffet breakfast consists of:- Juices, prunes, grapefruit segments, melon, raspberries, peaches, fresh fruit, nuts, cereals, yoghurts, ham, salami, cheeses, boiled eggs,  home made bread, tea/coffee and toast. 
Cooked breakfast is as above plus bacon, sausage, eggs, cooked tomatoes, mushrooms, fried soda and potato bread. You can decide upon the breakfast the evening before.

Double/twin = £75 for two with buffet.
Single rooms = £45 (with buffet).
Triple Rooms (1 double + 1 single bed) = £95 per night with buffet.
Rate for 2 people in a triple room = £80, low season - £85 high season.
Family room for 4 - 1 double + 2 single beds = £105 with buffet
Family room for 5 - 1 double + 1 single + bunk beds = £125 with buffet

Payment is on arrival or leaving.

Cash, Euros and credit cards accepted (3% charge for credit cards, no charge for debit cards.

Directions : From Bushmills follow signs to Giant's Causeway A2 .  One mile turn left onto B146 towards Giants Causeway . Half mile follow tourist board signs to Carnside Guest House.

Situated at the Giants Causeway. Wonderful coastal walks. Nearby is Portrush, a sea side resort, popular for decades, because of it's amusement parks and two beautiful beaches, plus various sporting activities, such as golf, tennis, surfing and horse riding.  Five excellent golf courses are within easy reach (one Championship course - Royal Portrush). Water-sports, surfing, sailing, fishing and riding are all close at hand. Carrick- A-Rede Rope Bridge is 6 miles east of Carnside, on the most beautiful part of the Antrim Coast. The Dark Hedges, where parts of the Game of Thrones were filmed is 20 minutes drive from Carnside, and easily accessed from the Rope Bridge.
